A Transition to Ambivalent World

I've mentioned (even recently) Aaron Renn's positive, neutral, and negative world grid for analyzing how Christians are perceived in our culture. This is a smart article that notes there has possibly been a shift back to the right that is marked by ambivalence more than hostility - at least from some sectors of the culture.

There is a definable split that has occurred between men and women, with men becoming more religious (it seems) for the first time in our nation's history.

Sociology and discerning social trends is not an exact science and there is some guessing here, but I have sensed the shift that Troutt discusses here. Now is not the time for Christians to back down from reality and truth claims!
