If you watched the Olympics, you might have noticed a good number of commercials touting the glories of AI (artificial intelligence). This is a good article warning about the trap of letting a supplement become a substitute. I would add that this is especially true in areas where God intends for us to bring him glory as image bearers of him by exercising creative dominion over the earth. The imago dei can't be short-cut by a powerful processor and artificial intelligence. Don't hear why I'm not saying - AI certainly has some very legitimate and good uses. Let's just be careful to not let the tail begin to wag the dog.
AI is rapidly developing and it would be wise for Christians on a personal level to begin developing boundaries on how and when they will use what can be a helpful tool.
