Esther 2:1-23-Providence Reigns over Sin-January 14,2024

Pastor Matt mines the second chapter of Esther to show us the depravity of man. An expository reading of this scripture shows how man is ruled by the flesh and it's desires. How the story of Esther is a story of how, through pride, women of the time were used and then displaced. People who view pornography today operate out of that same spirit. He describes how when flesh rules, pride prevents reconciliation. God rules through man's sin and messiness. We do not have to wait until we have it all together, to come to Jesus. Finally, the story of Esther is not a happy story of a a young lady who is swept up by a Prince Charming.
