Dining With The Devil-Esther-5:1-14-February 04, 2024am

Through Chapter five in Esther, Pastor Matt shows us the importance of faith in courage. God uses faithful, courageous people to accomplish His plan. We need to "put feet to our faith" and move in the direction God desires us to go in. James says "faith by it's self, if it is not accomplished by action, is dead. We need our security to be in Christ Jesus. Insecure people need to find significance in something. Those things become idols. Inside of Jesus, there is freedom, significance, and protection. Outside of Him is a cold dark world of our own creation. The choice cannot be more stark. Jesus saves people for all times, past, present and future. Through Esther's faith, she had the eternal protection of Jesus even though she did not have the promises written in the New Testament Gospels. Nothing can defeat God and His plans!
