James 2:14-26-A Little Less Talk..-August 25, 2024am

In today’s meeting, Pastor Matt teaches us how a verse or passage can be incorrectly interpreted and appear at odds with other scripture when pulled out by it’s self. However when we let the Bible interpret it’s self, the passage is congruent with all scripture. Today we heard James talk about faith and works. We know salvation is from Christ alone, but our works should reflect Christ’s light that is within us. A saving faith is a working faith.

Living Faith is

*Real; 1:2-2:27 it’s tested, holy, compassionate and visible

*Humble; 3:1-5:6 it’s self aware, selfless, submissive and sympathetic

*Expectant; 5:7-5:20 it’s persevering and praying.
