James 4:1-10-Enemies of God-September 15, 2024am

Pastor Matt pulls firm truths for all of us out of James Chapter 4 this morning. James is showing us how our hearts, when driven by our flesh, will lead us to personal and spiritual conflict, and has negative impacts on our prayer. The way forward is through submitting to Christ with honest repentance. There we will find Grace. When we get to the end of our selves, Jesus is at the door knocking waiting for our response. He is faithful. 

Living Faith is

*Real; 1:2-2:27 it’s tested, holy, compassionate and visible

*Humble; 3:1-5:6 it’s self aware, selfless, submissive and sympathetic

*Expectant; 5:7-5:20 it’s persevering and praying.
