James 4:11-17-Rules of Engagement-September 22,2024am

Today Pastor Matt brings the message from James 4:11-17. We need to let God be God in every area of our lives. Truth is, He IS God over our lives. We can submit to Him or we can kick at the goads, our choice. Submission is good. He shows us that we arrogantly step into Gods place when we presume to arrogantly judge and presume to arrogantly plan. We must only judge according to God’s perfect word, live subject to God’s good will, and trust His unending goodness.

Living Faith is

*Real; 1:2-2:27 it’s tested, holy, compassionate and visible

*Humble; 3:1-5:6 it’s self aware, selfless, submissive and sympathetic

*Expectant; 5:7-5:20 it’s persevering and praying.
